Invitation For Bid (IFB # 12-13-07) Bus Stop Sign Removal/Installation
The Mid
Mon Valley Transit Authority (MMVTA) is requesting bids for the removal
and installation of bus stop signs. Sealed bids should be marked IFB #
12-13-07 and must be received before 4 PM., Wednesday, June 12, 2013, at
the Mid Mon Valley Transit Authority, 1300 McKean Avenue, Charleroi, PA
15022. Bids received after this time and date will be returned, unopened
and considered non-responsive. At 5 PM a public bid opening will occur
at the address listed above.

Specifications and Bid Proposal Forms are available by request via the
form below.
All updates and changes to the IFB will be addressed via official
addendum from the MMVTA.
All
instructions, insurance requirements, necessary forms and other
requirements are included in the IFB.
The Authority will
award an agreement, if at all, through the competitive process set forth
in this IFB. Individuals/Firms will be required to comply with all
regulations applicable to a federally and state-funded procurement. The
Authority reserves the right to postpone, accept or reject any or all
proposals as the Authority deems to be in its own best interest subject
to the rules and regulations of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the
U.S. Department of Transportation.
All bids will
remain open for a period of sixty (60) days from the date of opening.
Any person or business on the Comptroller General=s
list of ineligible bidders and /or those who have been prohibited from
doing business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania or it=s agencies/subdivisions,
is not an eligible proposer.
The Authority will
afford Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE's) full opportunity to
respond and will not discriminate on the basis of race, color, sex, or
national origin in the review of specifications or agreement award. No
specific DBE goal has been set for this project.
Certified Small Businesses who are prequalified are encouraged to
bid on this project. Small Businesses who are not prequalified are
encouraged to become certified as a small business.
The
MMVTA reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals, to
waive any irregularity in a proposal, and to make an award as may best
serve the interests of the Authority.

Sealed
bids on forms provided in the bid packet, will be received by the Mid
Mon Valley Transit Authority (MMVTA) and Westmoreland County Transit
Authority (WCTA) at the MMVTA offices,1300 McKean Avenue Charleroi, PA,
15022 until 9:45 AM EST prevailing time on Thursday, May 16, 2013. Bids
will be opened and publicly read aloud for tabulation at 10 AM EST May
16, 2013 at MMVTA’s 1300 McKean Avenue Charleroi, PA, 15022 office.
The bids are for
Delivery and Pricing of 2B ULTRA LOW SULFUR DIESEL FUEL.

MMVTA/WCTA hereby
notifies all proposers that in regard to any contract entered into
pursuant to this IFB advertisement or solicitation, disadvantaged
business enterprises (DBE’s) will be afforded full opportunity to submit
proposals in response and will not be subject to discrimination on the
basis of race, color, sex or national origin in consideration for an
award.

Businesses who are prequalified are encouraged to propose on this
project. Small Businesses who are not prequalified are encouraged to
become certified as a small business.
MMVTA/WCTA reserves

RFP 12-13-08 PROVISION OF LEGAL SERVICES
The

offices at the above address for the provision of legal/solicitor
services for the MMVTA. Proposal documents are available to be picked
up during normal business hours (Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM. to 4:30
PM) at the MMVTA offices.

MMVTA
must receive information only from interest
agencies/businesses who possess certifications in Act 120 (Municipal
Police Training), Act 235 (Lethal Weapon Training), Act 151 (Child
Abuse), and The Private Detective Act of 1953. Also, Act 34 background
checks on all prospective individuals who would perform work for the
Authority will be performed by the Contractor.
