4/30/2010 – MMVTA Bus Garage moves to Donora and the facility in Upper Speers will no longer be used by MMVTA
Starting with first service on Friday, April 30, the MMVTA will begin operating out of the Donora facility.  The only changes to the MMVTA system, at this time, include the closure of parking options and bus stop on Route A from the Upper Speers facility. 

Route A buses will use a new temporary stop until further notice located along the backside of the monument on Guttman Blvd. for all travel to and from Upper Speers.

MMVTA’s Administrative Offices and Transit Center will remain in Charleroi.

Starting on Friday, April 30 there will be NO parking options available in Upper Speers. Please proceed to one of the following parking areas in Charleroi/N. Charleroi:

Chamber Plaza - Charleroi, PA
Chamber Plaza offers free all day parking. The lot can be accessed by turning right off of McKean Ave. (Route 88 N) or left off of Fallowfield Ave. (Route 88 S) on to Fifth St. and proceeding over the train tracks into the plaza in Charleroi. Free parking is located in the back of the lot on the left when entering from Fifth St. (closest to tracks on the SPHS side of the Plaza). Also, note buses will not pull directly into lot. Riders must cross tracks and wait at McKean Ave. at 5th St. or Fallowfield Ave. at 5th St. depending on direction traveling. MMVTA Transit Center Park and Ride - Charleroi, PA  
The MMVTA owns and operates a Park and Ride only lot adjacent from the Transit Center located on the Fallowfield Ave. side of the building.
